Just Not Comfortable
The style of these shoes is a winner. Unfortunately the comfort quotient is low. The foot bed is not the problem, that is good, but for me it wasn't enough. The wooden heel construction just doesn't give enough, it 's hard and creates joint and lower back discomfort after a few hours of wear. I sadly had to return these, but if Jambu went back to the table, perhaps they could design a winner look and a shoe that is good for your body too.
Adorable and comfortable!
I've only worn these in the house so far, but despite being a rather high shoe, the ankle is very well supported and the foot bed is very comfortable! I had bunion surgery almost 8 months ago and Jambu heels are the only ones I can wear all day and not regret it the next day! And they have some super sexy styles, like this one! The only thing with the Simone is that it is NOT an easy on/easy off shoe. There's no zipper at the heel, so you pretty much have to completely unlace it, put the shoe on, and relace it. The laces are leather, so they'll be durable, but it also makes them a little hard to get laced. But really...these things are so cute on that the extra 5 minutes to lace them is worth it!
