I bought these in black and blue in size 7 mens/ I'm a 8 to 8.5 womans/39.5 European sized. They are a little snug to get into but I think that is tolerable with the comfort and they go up just below the ankle so nice support to that joint without covering it. The tread is good design. I have no problems walking indoors on carpet or laminate floors. I bought to wear in winter. I walk 2 blocks t/from work and some days there is rain & snow.
